![]() ![]() That's what I used, it's free and easy to do, do a google search on how to burn iso with Rufus. After you have downloaded it you need to burn it to a usb drive and to do that you need a little software program like Rufus. I think what you are looking to do is to install Linux alongside windows so that when you turn on the computer you can choose which operating system to launch. ![]() I don't think that's what you want, most people install Linux so that it runs as an operating system independent of Windows. ![]() I'm a newbie too but here's what I know, you do not want to install Linux in "virtual", what I believe that means is install Linux inside of Windows, kind of like software running inside of Windows, Linux would be running inside of Windows.
